By accessing or using DriveWise.co.na (“the Website”) and our services, you agree to comply with the following terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Overview

DriveWise offers a membership service to tourists traveling in Namibia, providing support and assistance in the event of mishaps or emergencies. Membership benefits include 24/7 travel assistance and car hire excess waiver coverage to ensure a safe and worry-free journey.

2. Membership Benefits

As a DriveWise member, you gain access to the following benefits:

o 24-Hour Call Centre Support
o Emergency Evacuation
o Hospital Access Guarantee
o Search & Rescue
o Trauma Counselling
o Alternative Accommodation
o Replacement Car (optional cover)

3. Assist Process

Any time you contact us via our 24/7 call centre or the Go Namibia App we register an event, you may be required to submit documentation (incident reports, rental agreements, etc.) depending on the specific event.

4. Payment & Refunds

Membership fees are paid at the time of registration. Refunds are not typically issued once membership is activated unless otherwise specified. Partial refunds may be offered based on the cancellation terms.

5. Privacy & Personal Information

  • Data Collection: By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data, including contact details, travel information, and incident reports.
  • Tracking & Recovery: In emergencies, we may use your personal information to locate and assist you, including mobile phone triangulation, in accordance with the Communication Act 8 of 2009.
  • Disclosure: Your personal data may be shared with our trusted partners, such as car rental agencies and service providers, solely for service delivery purposes. We uphold strict data protection standards.

6. Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information during registration and assistance events. You are responsible for complying with local laws and keeping us informed of any changes to your details or travel plans.

7. Limitations of Liability

DriveWise is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, nor for third-party services outside of our control (e.g., car rentals, lodges, travel agencies). Our liability is limited to the benefits provided under your membership.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your membership for violation of these terms. If terminated, all outstanding fees must be paid. You may cancel your membership subject to the cancellation policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Namibian law, and any disputes will be resolved in Namibian courts.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on the our website – Drivewise.co.na
